I bought this dress for New Years and it was a smash. I'm 5'1'' with an apple shape and it still looked great. I did, however, have to alter it because it had an extremely plunging neckline, too much for my taste, anyway. Having a small torso doesn't help either. Since the dress is designed similar to a wrap dress at the bust, the tailoring was made right under where my cups rest. Not only did it eliminate the deep V, but it fit better in the shoulders, allowing the shoulder pads to rest perfectly on my shoulders (and not my upper arm!). The dress is short (even on me), but the long sleeves makes up for it.
